Links for the first Monday in March

I found some interesting bookish things around and about the interwebs over the past couple of days, so here is a Monday list:

1. This is a great discussion of the current crop of covers in the UK. Note that North American covers tend to be different, so actual covers that you see in bookshops near you may vary.

2. Who doesn’t like that old game list your top five books? Alister McGrath gives his list, and there are links to other top five lists on the SPCK site. Trick question: how many of these eminent authors can actually count to five?

3. And finally, who can resist talking about things Roman these days? Not me, I work in a theological bookshop where we have to worry about where to shelve books, under B, for Benedict, or R for Ratzinger? Apparently more than one person is worried about what will happen when there are two living popes once again.
